Ross Group Inc Shows Support at Susan G. Komen 3-Day
Employees from Ross Group Inc’s Atlanta, GA office took initiative on Friday, October 19, to show their support for the many women and men walking in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day to support breast cancer awareness. RGI was granted an opportunity to host a cheer station off Dekalb Industrial Way from the hours of 11:00 am to 3:00 pm (EDT). While they were there, RGI staff provided drinks and snacks to the many who were seeking refreshments.
The Susan G. Komen 3-Day is a walk to support breast cancer awareness, where walkers must raise at least $2,300.00 prior to participation. The walk is split into three different 20 mile segments for three different days, starting at Stone Mountain, GA and reaching an end-point at Turner Field – home to the Atlanta Braves. As stated on their site, no other breast cancer event in the country asks participants to walk as far and raise as much money as the 3-Day.

Temply Glynn, Controller at Ross Group Inc, stated:
“It was a very positive experience volunteering and showing support for the participants in the 3-Day. It was extremely uplifting to see so many people come together for a cause that affects so many women each and every year.”
